Use the GoReact Video Tool in D2L Brightspace

What is GoReact?
GoReact is a cloud-based video assessment and feedback platform designed to enhance skill development across various disciplines. It combines video recording, feedback, and analytics tools to simplify skills-based learning for both learners and educators.

- Customizable Rubrics and Marker Sets: GoReact offers tools for creating and sharing rubrics and marker sets to standardize assessments and streamline feedback.
- AI-Enhanced Features: The platform includes AI-powered tools such as AI Markers, AI Comments, and AI Metrics to provide automated, time-stamped feedback and analytics on speech patterns, including pacing and filler words.

Students
If your instructor has set it up, you can access GoReact through your D2L course. Just click the link your instructor created in your course. Please visit the GoReact student support website for more information on how to use the tool.
Instructors
Follow these steps to create a GoReact activity in your course.
- Access your D2L course and navigate to the content module where you want to create the activity.
- Choose Existing Activities > External Learning Tools.
- Scroll to the bottom of the list and choose Create New LTI Link.
- Give your activity a title.
- For the LTI URL, enter: https://lti.goreact.com/lti/v1
- Choose Create and Insert.
- You should see the new activity link at the bottom of the content module. Click the link to access the GoReact platform and continue setting up your activity. Visit the GoReact instructor support website for detailed guides on how to set up and evaluate activities within the GoReact platform.
Optionally, follow these steps to set up automatic grade transfer so that grades you enter in GoReact automatically transfer into the D2L Gradebook. Note: Only the final grade will transfer. Rubric data will not transfer to D2L.
- Choose the GoReact link you created previously. Close the GoReact tab that appears and return to D2L.
- In the lower right hand corner of the page choose Add a grade item...
- Choose New Grade Item.
- Fill in the information and settings as needed.
- Choose Create.
- Choose Save.
