When education pioneer Elizabeth Harrison founded the school that would become NLU in 1886, she put service, community, and social justice first. Those principles continue to be the focus of President Eddie Phillips, Ed.D., the twelfth president of NLU, and his team. Our leaders are passionate advocates for adult higher education and firm believers in its equalizing and uplifting effect on families and communities. Their role is to “serve those who serve others” by fostering a learning environment conducive to the highest degree of student success.
Dr. Eddie J. Phillips Jr. serves as the twelfth President and is currently acting Provost of National Louis University, one of the nation's most historic and innovative institutions dedicated to expanding educational opportunity and preparing graduates for meaningful careers, lifelong learning, and lives of purpose.
National Louis University’s Officers of the University and Senior Administrators guide and support the University while upholding the best interests of its students and faculty.
