Brightspace by D2L

Brightspace by D2L has been at the heart of the NLU online campus since Winter 2012. We were early adopters of D2L's then-newest version and have remained on the cutting, but not the bleeding, edge of the Brightspace learning environment ever since. (Did you wonder? D2L is the company, Brightspace is the LMS they build and host. For brevity, we will often refer to all of it as "D2L"). Over the years, we have tested and incorporated many D2L changes: big changes such as trading our original D2L interface for the mobile-friendly "Daylight" version, and small ones such as adding @mention style tagging to the text editor used in Discussions, Announcements, and other tools. The pages in this section of the NLU Website may answer some of your questions about our D2L systems, including the ways they change and evolve, and how to troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
